Call us today if

These are same-day calls,
not wait-and-see.

You do not need to diagnose it. Describe what is happening and we will tell you whether it needs someone today.

  • You smell burning, or see scorch marks around an outlet, switch or panel
  • An outlet or switch is sparking, or a cover plate is hot to the touch
  • The panel is buzzing, humming or warm
  • A breaker trips immediately and will not reset
  • Part of the home has no power while the neighbours still do
  • Water has reached electrical equipment, or a fixture is leaking
  • Lights across the home are flickering or browning out together

If you smell burning or see sparking, shut the power off at the main if it is safe to reach, and call the fire department first. Then call us.

What happens when you call

A real answer on the phone.

You reach the contractor

Not a dispatcher reading a script. The person you speak to is the one who does the work.

Honest timing

We tell you when we can actually be there. If we cannot get to you today, we say so instead of leaving you waiting.

Diagnose, then price

We find the actual fault and you approve the repair price before we start. No surprise bill.

Made safe, then fixed

First job is to make it safe. Then the permanent repair, to code, with the panel left labelled.

Homes, businesses and stratas

Who we answer for.

Homeowners

Dead circuits, failed breakers, burning smells and the panel questions that cannot wait for a quote cycle.

Businesses

Lost power to a unit, tripped three-phase equipment, lighting and distribution faults that stop you trading.

Stratas & property managers

Common-area and parkade faults, with a service agreement that puts your buildings at the front of the queue.

Urgent electrical questions

The questions we get on the phone.

How fast can you get here?

Call and you will get a straight answer on timing, not a maybe. We start on site at 7:00 AM Monday to Friday, so mornings move quickly, and service-agreement clients get priority response.

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you call outside those hours, leave a message and we pick it up first thing. If you smell burning, see sparking, or the panel is hot, shut the power off at the main if it is safe to do so and call the fire department rather than waiting.

What counts as an electrical emergency?

Burning smells, scorch marks, sparking outlets or switches, a panel that is hot or buzzing, water in contact with electrical equipment, or losing power to part of the home while the neighbours still have theirs. Those are same-day calls.

Half my house has no power but the neighbours do. What is going on?

That usually points to a tripped breaker, a failed breaker, a loose connection in the panel, or a lost leg on the incoming service. The last one is a BC Hydro issue and we will tell you if that is what you are looking at, rather than billing you to find out.

My breaker keeps tripping and will not reset. Should I keep trying?

No. A breaker that will not hold is doing its job and telling you there is a fault on that circuit. Repeatedly resetting it is how a nuisance trip turns into damage. Leave it off and call.

Do you charge to come out?

We are upfront about the service call on the phone before we book it, and you approve the repair price before we do the work. No surprise bill at the end.

Electrical that is doing something
it should not is not worth waiting on.
